How do Zero Percent Credit Card Offers Work?
If you have good credit, then you probably receive Zero Percent Credit Card offers in your mailbox. I have been using credit cards to my advantage as part of my financial plan
shortly after I got my first credit card. As long as you carefully follow the terms and conditions of each card, you can save a lot of money on credit card interest.
First you will get an offer from your credit card company. Once you are approved for the offer, they will send you checks in the mail which are used to access the zero percent interest rate.
When cashed, these checks will add directly to the balance you owe on your charge card account.
You will be charged a service fee of usually up to 3% of the amount you borrow. Some cards have a minimum and a maximum charge, typically maximum charges are $50 or $100. Beware, some cards
have no maximum charge, so you will pay the 3% on the whole amount you are borrowing. You will be charged the service fee as soon as your zero percent offer check hits the bank. This will be
added to your balance.

Pay your credit card bills on time each month. This will greatly help you establish a strong credit rating. This comes into play when applying
for auto loans, renting an apartment, or applying for a mortgage. It's also good to keep a credit card on hand in case of emergencies.
